This Privacy Policy describes how your personal information is collected, used, and shared when you visit or make a purchase from https://amarieofficial.com/ (the "Site" or "Webshop").

The Data Controller of your personal information is AMARIE DIZAJN D.O.O. ZA USLUGE, located at Gundulićeva 19, 10 000 Zagreb, Croatia, VAT ID/OIB: 93092892560 (hereinafter: "A'MARIE", "we", "us").

1. PERSONAL INFORMATION WE COLLECT

When you visit the Site, we automatically collect certain information about your device, including information about your web browser, IP address, time zone, and some of the cookies that are installed on your device.

Additionally, we collect data depending on your interaction with us:

  • Order Information: When you make a purchase or attempt to make a purchase through the Site, we collect your name, billing address, shipping address, email address, and phone number. If you request a business invoice (R1), we also collect the Company Name and VAT ID/OIB.

  • Payment Information: Please note that we do not store or process your credit card numbers. This data is processed exclusively by our authorized payment service provider (CorvusPay) on their secure servers.

  • Appointment Booking: When you use our system to book an appointment at our physical store, we collect your name, email, and phone number to organize your visit.

  • Newsletter: If you subscribe to our newsletter, we collect your email address.

  • Customer Support: Information you provide voluntarily when you contact us for inquiries or complaints.

2. HOW DO WE USE YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION?

We use the collected information for the following purposes:

  • Order Fulfillment: Processing your order, arranging for shipping, and providing you with invoices and/or order confirmations.

  • Accounting and Inventory: Synchronizing orders with our ERP system for legal bookkeeping and inventory management.

  • Communication: To update you on your order status or respond to your inquiries.

  • Booking Appointments: To manage the schedule of visits to our showroom/store via Calendly.

  • Marketing (with consent): Sending newsletters about new collections and offers via Mailchimp. You can withdraw this consent at any time by clicking the "unsubscribe" link at the bottom of our emails.

  • Screening: To screen our orders for potential risk or fraud (in particular, your IP address).

3. SHARING YOUR PERSONAL INFORMATION & TECHNICAL PARTNERS

We share your Personal Information with trusted third parties (Data Processors) who assist us in providing our services, strictly within the scope necessary for the service operation:

  • Shopify: Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform. Your data is stored through Shopify’s data storage and databases on secure servers. You can read more about how Shopify uses your Personal Information here: https://www.shopify.com/legal/privacy.

  • ZG Data ERP (Zagreb Data d.o.o.): For accounting, fiscalization, and inventory management purposes, your order data is synchronized with our central ERP system maintained by our partner Zagreb Data d.o.o.

  • CorvusPay (Corvus Info d.o.o.): We use CorvusPay for secure credit card payments. During payment, data is encrypted and transmitted directly to the bank and CorvusPay system. A'MARIE never has access to your full credit card data.

  • Netgen d.o.o.: As our partner for technical implementation and maintenance of the webshop, Netgen d.o.o. has access to the technical backend solely for the purpose of maintenance, debugging, and system development.

  • Shipping Providers: To deliver your orders, we share your delivery details (name, address, phone) with courier services. For shipments within Croatia, we use GLS. For international shipments, we use Eurosender, a platform that forwards the data to the selected carrier (e.g., DHL, UPS) depending on your location.

  • Calendly: We use Calendly to process data required for booking in-store appointments.

  • Mailchimp: We use Mailchimp (The Intuit Rocket Science Group LLC) for sending newsletters.

4. INTERNATIONAL DATA TRANSFERS

Since we use global service providers (Shopify, Calendly, Mailchimp), your information may be transferred to and processed outside the European Economic Area (EEA), including to Canada and the United States.

Such transfers are protected by appropriate safeguards in compliance with GDPR, including the European Commission’s Adequacy Decisions (for Canada) and the Data Privacy Framework or Standard Contractual Clauses (SCC) for service providers based in the USA.

5. YOUR RIGHTS

If you are a European resident, you have the right to access personal information we hold about you and to ask that your personal information be corrected, updated, or deleted ("right to be forgotten").
